aletha vandermaas has loved the wedding industry since first working in catering in 1998. Banquet serving, interning with a couture bridal designer in Chicago, dabbling in bridal retail and then planning her own wedding has lead up to Pearls Events. Everything about weddings make her smile, especially the gorgeous photography. After four years of dreaming of owning her own business, she is doing it.

grand rapids, michigan is where our offices are located, but our events take place all over the state. This year we are looking forward to weddings in West Michigan as well as the Kalamazoo area and Northern Michigan.
